Dan River Wesleyan Church began in May of 1948 after a 9 week revival. The people wanted to form a church because of what God was doing through the revival. People's lives were saved, transformed and a church was formed. In October of 2023, Pastor Vanessa York, MA, LCMHC came to Pastor Dan River with a call to lead the church to reach Eden and the surrounding area with the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

From the beginning of Dan River Wesleyan Church, there has been a desire to see people come to know Jesus and to make him Lord of their lives. The church is very excited about making an impact here in Rockingham County. We invite you to see for yourself how God is moving in the church and leading us to live on mission for Him.
